Skin Therapist Lauren Saul, on the new NeoSculpt Treatment

So the NeoSculpt has got us all quite excited at FENN.
We chatted with FENN skin therapist Lauren Saul about NeoSculpt.
What do you love about this new offering?
I’ve been really interested in facial massage and sculpting, and have been wanting to offer this to our clients as it is such a fantastic alternative to cosmetic procedures and injectables. We can now achieve incredible results with no downtime and through a transporting and relaxing experience.
These techniques really take holistic skincare to another level, as not only are the physical results impressive, the emotional release you experience is cathartic and enables the parasympathetic nervous system to balance.
Can you explain the essence of the treatment?
Combining lymphatic drainage, stimulation of collagen through promoting circulation, oxygenation and release of the fascia and tissue. We begin by working on the facial muscles from the outside; tangibly lifting, releasing and retraining the muscles of the face.
We then work with the Buccal massage technique from the inside of the mouth to release any jaw tension and massage through issues we aren’t able to reach superficially.
Finishing off the treatment with our Omnilux LED Light Therapy and a hydrating sheet mask to replenish the skin whilst we calm inflammation and promote repair.
How and why should this be a part of skin care?
It’s like taking your face to a pilates class…. We have over 40 facial muscles and they work hard - they are involved in our facial expressions, they function to help us eat, breathe and talk but we hardly ever give them the attention we give our bodies; they deserve releasing, stretching, sculpting. For best results we recommend fortnightly - monthly, however any and all attention you give to your facial muscles is welcomed.
It’s also a great alternative to more invasive facial treatments such as face lifts and injectables. For those who want to avoid or delay the use of these, a regular NeoSculpt treatment is ideal, functional and therapeutic.
What are your go to skin care rituals and products?
At FENN we are spoilt with the best and highest quality products that have been made with heart and passion. I'm a huge believer in self care and love to turn my short morning and night routines into rituals. A long deep cleanse with my Maryse cleanser is a great opportunity to do some self massage, helping to stimulate collagen and elastin and release jaw tension.
For serums at the moment i’m using Medik8 B5 and Rationale #1 Serum, followed by Rationale #6 Night Creme. And if my skin needs some TLC I'll have a little mask moment with Josh Rosebrook’s Advanced Hydration Mask. Heaven in a bottle.
Who inspires you?
@noyskincare, @koshaspa, @guendalinatheskinsculpter are all incredible women who are pioneers in the art of facial massage. They are excellent guides if ever you’d like to try self massage and really help to explain the correct and most effective technique. And obviously my colleagues; Nicole and Clare, who are not only incredible therapists but have really forged a path for me to grow and create the best possible work I can do.
